For the final part of my BA Photography degree the course puts on a exhibition to showcase to the public all of the graduates final works.
In preparation for the exhibition show all of the photography students are fundraising in a variety of ways to raise money for the production of a exhibition catalogue and website with a external graphics company. One of the ways that our course is raising money is through a print sale and print auction with works from artists such as Rachel Brown, Silvana Trevale and Alec Aarons.
I chose one of my photographs from my final project ‘Living for Another’ to donate for the student print sale to help to raise some money.
I chose to use a A3 size but provide a boarder around the image, this meant that the actual image was A4.
With there being around 30 students involved in the exhibition fundraiser we hope to gather as many prints as possible from each of the students in hopes to raise more money.
The sale will be announced within the next month, being in person so that the quality of the images can be viewed properly and so the buyer can take their purchase away with them on the day.
